Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Sweet Japanese two-piece cha-dansu or tea tansu, early 20th century.  Dramatic crafting features richly grained tamo (ash) and cedar (sugi) woods.  Fabulous design accents include glass-paneled central display area, several roomy additional cabinets and multiple drawers.  Traditionally used to store/display items associated with the tea ceremony.  Charming metal finger pulls add to the overall appeal of this striking piece. A beautiful example of traditional tea tansu craftsmanship. Very good condition.
