Rustic Japanese okidoko for the tea ceremony tokonoma alcove, Taisho period, c. 1912-1926. Lovely cedar wood construction with subtle, natural paneling. Wonderful for display of tea accessories, Japanese dolls, religious figures or ikebana floral display. May also be used as a getabako shoe storage bench! Very good condition. Dimensions: 14.25" high, 64.5" wide, 12.25" deep.
