Original copper liner, traditionally used to provide heat for visitors to the Japanese home.  With a customized piece of glass would make a striking coffee or side table.  Also lovely as jardinière or base for dramatic ikebana flower arrangement. Customized, removable, wheeled base.  A hard-to-find and exceptional item for the Mingei collector! Very good condition.
